I was just thinking...isn't Malay a weird language sometimes? What other language can you refer to yourself in the third person? For example, let's say your name is Siti. If you wanted to go to sleep, and you said "Selamat malam. Siti nak tidur" it sounds quite normal right? But what if you said "Goodnight. Siti wants to sleep" people would think you're retarded. Isn't Malay an interesting language? Labels: Insights
Also, I was watching the news just now, and they were saying how at the elections, there was some guy in a PKR jacket standing at the door stopping voters from voting, and then he pushed some makcik until she fell down. So then everyone was saying PKR supporters are violent. But if it were me and I was about to terrorize the voting place, I wouldn't wear the jacket of the party I'm supporting. I'd wear the jacket of the other party. NMot that I'm saying anything, but it is a possibility and it is something to think about, isn't it.
Spent the weekend at Port Dickson. It was quite fun. I was the official babysitter for my brother's kid since we were roomies. But I didn't mind at all. I rather enjoyed it. Especially since I don't see him very often so I like to spend as much time as possible with him. In fact, I blatantly refused to return him to his mummy. Hehehe. We went to the ostrich farm & mini zoo. We also went to the beach by the hotel and then the hotel swimming pool. It's been a long time since I splashed about so I enjoyed myself very much. Also, me, my brother & my sis-in-law took little Iddy to a ball pool. Me & my brother, having never played in such places when we were kids, jumped in as well and had a blast tossing balls about and sitting in a sea of balls. We were later joined by my sister & her family, and so we buried her baby in balls since he was so small. In the end only his head was visible. Teeheehee. The hotel room was really nice, but it was a bit weird. It was divided into 2 sections. 1 section was like a bathroom, the other section was the sleeping area. What was weird about it was the bathroom section was in the front, so as soon as you entered the door you would enter the bathroom first. To get to the sleeping area you have to go through another door. Although when you think about it, this is actually a practical design since people usually go to the beach or pool and would enter the room dripping wet, so it would make sense for them to put a bathroom as the first place you enter. All in all, it was a nice trip. Labels: Holiday
A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty, he said...no. She asked him if he would want to be with her forever....and he said no. She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry? And once again he replied with a no. She had heard enough. As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy grabbed her arm and said....You're not pretty you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever. I NEED to be with you forever, and I wouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die...

Story of a man :
When I was married 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and
said, 'honey, 25 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car,
slept on a sofa bed and watched 10-inch black and white TV, but I
got to sleep every night with a hot 25-year-old blonde.'
Now we have a $500,000 home, a $45,000 car, nice big bed and plasma
screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 50-year-old woman. It seems to
me that you are not holding up your side of things.'
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out & find a
hot 25-year-old blonde, and she would make sure that I would once
again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping
on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve your
mid-life crisis!

Oh wow....ok ok...I know I have a boyfriend, and this is sooo wrong..but the thing is, we're not doing all that great at the moment..maybe that's why I'm so easily attracted. Every girl needs someone to make her smile when someone else is making her cry. I'm getting closer & closer to that photo dude everyday...and I'm liking every moment of it. Everyday I come home smilingg, and I'll keep on smiling till I sleep. It's so wonderful to have someone making me smile & laugh when I'm on the brin k of depression.
I just downloaded Alvin & The Cipmunks' whole album today. Oh my god they're so cute!
By the way, if anyone has Staind - For You, can send to me?
I don't believe in coincidences...I believe in fate...and coincidences don't happen very often. What is meant to be will be. But I was just thinking...there were way too many coincidences with that guy (see previous post)
1. I met him at our hotel cafe, and thought i'd never see him again, then I met him the next day and it turned out he was the photographer for the class pics.
2. I happen to like photographers. I've always wanted to be good friends/more with 1, especially a pro 1 since I was in high school.
3. He happens to live very nearby the house I'm staying in right now.
4. He happened to muncul just as I'm having so many problems with my boy. [Of course I won't break up with him...I'm not looking for love...I'm still in love(I think)..but a good friend helps..good friends of the opposite sex are so different]
Isn't that just too many coincidences ?
Yesterday I got hit on by this guy at the hotel cafe..he was just about to take my number or something when a lecturer came, so tak jadi. I thought he was an engineering student since I'd never seen him before. Today, we had a photography session for the class..I almost had a heart attack. Turns out that guy's the photographer! Oh My God! I love photographers! And he asked me out. Too bad I have a boyfriend. Haha.

A walk.
We had our semesterly hoteliers' gathering last night. Probably to the people who came, it went off without a glitch except that we started late coz our Head of Faculty had a meeting which finished late, and obviously we couldn't start a faculty gathering without the Head of Faculty, right. But for the people working to make it happen, OH MY GOD! It was the most stressful night I've ever had! Out of the 30 people in our class, only 11 people did actual work, and out of the 11, only 7 did all they could to help. It was so frustrating! There was so much work to do and everyone was sitting around. When we asked them to help out, they didn't want to. I was the one of the emcees for the event. Then there was this one guy, who just because got 3.96 last semester, thinks that he's better than everyone. Suddenly in the middle of the event he menyibuk-nyibuk at the stage. Then a few lecturers came in late, he came to us the 2 emcees and said "Nanti bgtau lecturer ni br sampai tau!", in this tone that said "if I don't tell you this you won't do it". But at the time he came we'd just finished discussing who was going to announce the lecturer. It was as if he thought we had no brains to think for ourselves. I mean, c'mon..we know our jobs..let us do it. Don't be such a busybody! Then when the juniors were introducing ourselves he suddenly took the mic and started talking and saying stuff in between every introduction. I had to go and grab the mic from him, only then did he leave to take his seat. Then, after a while he came down again, and started walking around at the stage area when the students were introducing themselves and godeh sana godeh sini. I think he was just trying to look busy and make the students think he was in charge. By that time I was so PO'd, I told him to shut up and sit down. That did the trick. He sat down and didn't come anywhere near the stage for the rest of the night. He didn't talk to me at all, either. Merajuk la konon. Like I give a ****. But other than that I guess it went okay. Lots of lecturers came, and out of all the hotel students only a few didn't show up. Unlike the previous semesters when there were lots of gaps in the hall, last night there weren't enough seats. And most surprising, everyone got there exactly on time. In fact, they were early. It was very surprising. I'll put up pictures when I have them~
I read in the paper the other day, police were sent to patrol some places in KL with high rate of poverty because the penduduk complained about these beggars and homeless people loitering around the streets. So the police went and rounded up all these people and put them in jail. Like, hello! Help them! Give them homes or jobs or something! How is putting them in jail supposed to help? I felt like screaming at the stupid idiots when I read the article. Why on earth are these people so effin' stupid?? AAaaaAaaAaarRRrrrggHHhhhHh!! Labels: Politics

Then, they had a sudden idea to dye their hair, so we shared and bought 1 box. I just did a bit at the front and back..not the whole hair. Brown, bebeh! But it's not so obvious so ladidah.
