I'm confused. Is this guy a Muslim or a Jew? At first he seems Muslim, then towards the end I started to feel like he wasn't. He started to defend Jews, and the people commenting were the same. They refused to acknowledge that the Qur'an states that Jews were/are enemies of Islam as they have many negative attributes. And they condemn the person who puts forth this fact. Granted, his language was not very polite, neither was it Islamic, but still, the content was agreeable. And yet, he ge3ts condemned. And one comment said "I'm Jewish", but the comment started with "thank Allah". I'm confused. And I was quite PO'd at some of the contents. Click here tu read it yourself and share your opinions. I am a supporter of Earth Hour! I was so happy to see that most of the people in this area switched off all their lights. And according to my father, Curve, Ikea and Ikano, three major shopping complexes in Damansara all closed for an hour. It is so refreshing to see Malaysians respond so positively. I'm so proud to be Malaysian! By the way, go to http://www.EarthHour.org to participate in the voting.
I was editing my YM contacts today, and I deleted all the names which haven't been online for a long time or whom I don't chat with even though they are online. Then I saw this one ID.."faizomar". I still don't have the heart to delete it even though it's been four years since it lit up and I know it will never light up again.
Just got our class pictures today, and for the first time since I've been here, I really like them. I'm going to frame all three!
This morning I got a call from a lady. The conversation went like this.
Me : Heollo ?
M : Hello, I'm from M Hotel. I'm calling regarding your industrial training. Your
college recommended you to be in the front office department.
Me : Oh, really (in a very excited tone. At this point my heart was all aflutter)
M : Hotel policy is that we provide uniforms for all our staff.
Me : Okay... (even more excited)
M : You will be required to wear a skirt. Is that okay with you ?
Me : (In a hopeful tone) Long skirt or short ?
M : Short skirt, miss.
*the sound of my heart shattering into a million pieces*
Huh.
*update* I got a call from the lecturer in charge for Centre Zone, and she said she'll put me in Hotel UiTM Shah Alam. Yeay~
After 7 weeks of slaving over an assignment, finally it was presented this morning. We're all so relieved it's over. So many challenges and obstacles were in our path but we made it, and we managed to present it successfully.
We did a full business plan, opening an imaginary company. We chose to open a chocolate restaurant. I got the idea from Theobrama Chocolate Lounge. Google it. It was a very challenging project, especially since out of the four of us, one person didn't do her job, but with cooperation from us four, things worked out fine.
But I think it was a good assignment because now I know what it takes to open a company. I felt as if I really was a manager. Here's my card.
I got a call from my belle-mere last night. She went to the doctor yesterday. The doctor said I'm going to be a big sister. Phew!
I'm very excited because I've never been a big sister before. But I'm also afraid that things will change for me. As it is, I often feel left out, and I'm afraid if there's a little one it will be even more so. But of course I wish for the best. I know they've been waiting a long time for this baby.
Oh, by the way, I would appreciate very much if anyone who reads this blog doesn't tell any of the maktoks about this until certain they know. My dad would like to tell them for himself. Nanti merajuk pulak.

I went on a class trip to Genting Highlands last weekend. Then when we were going back we went to KL first. We visited the Putrajaya International Conference Centre, then we went to High 5 Bread History. It was quite a fun trip. We rode all the rides at Genting. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to play because it rained until afternoon and we could only get in at 2 p.m. Also, the outdoor theme park closes at 7 p.m. even though it opens late so we spent most of our time in the indoor theme park. We watched 3D movies, rode on all the rides, even the silly kiddie ones (the ones we could fit into, at least). All in all, we all had a great time.
We rode the skyway up to the top, then walked all the way to the hotel. At the lobby of the hotel were singing bears, and the trash cans were all bear shaped. It was so cute!
During the hotel tour, some of us couldn't go down in the elevators because they were so small and couldn't fit all of us. So we went down the stairs. When we got to the floor we wanted, the door couldn't open so we were stuck inside. We had to go back up the stairs to the lobby and go down from there.
The signs for the washroom were pictures of elephants for the ladies and tigers for the gents. So cute...but obviously designed by a man.
The day we arrived, we discovered that hotel guests get a free bowling game per room, so of course we went. But I just watched seeing as how I didn't want to injure anyone.
The next morning, it w as incredibly foggy before it started to rain. First, it was drizzling, but my friend said it was condensation. We took her word for it. Then, it started raining heavily we started to wonder why there was so much condensation.
That afternoon when we went outdoors, the first ride we went on was my favourite. I went on it three times. It was so much fun! You can see my excited face in this picture.
All we ate at Genting was MB..it was the cheapest fast food available. Food there is so expensive! 5 pieces of Banana Fritters cost RM6! And not even big bananas!
This was taken at the Museum of Bread History..or High 5 Bread Town as it is known. It's a very nice place. It smelled completely of bread. The exhibitions are all made of real preserved bread. It's designed in an Egyptian style because bread originates from Egypt, apparently.
Then we went to PICC. It's a very beautiful place. Great for huge weddings. Only RM99k to rent a banquet hall! But my personal opinion, too much unnecessary expenditure. Just one chandelier costs millions! Imagine the cost of all the chandeliers. Billions! There is one main hall, two banquet halls, and 10 other halls. Not including meeting rooms, conference halls, bla bla bla.
But just one thing I've been wondering about and still haven't found the answer...
What on earth is a Dedicated TV Studio ?
I wonder why so many picnics go on when I'm not around but when I'm back home there's not a picnic in sight...
Nobody's responding to my tags. I'm depressed.
My phone was in chronic condition. The lights weren't functioning and the camera software couldn't be used. Last week, when the sound disappeared, I had gotten way past fed up. So I went and bought a new one. I drove all the way to Parit Buntar, Perak with some of my friends because the phones there are cheap. I bought a really nice phone for myself costing RM870 inclusive of 2GB memory card. I checked the price here, and it was RM988 without additional memory card. Great bargain!

Just got back from a huge family reunion in Kelantan. The journey was interesting...the actual trip not so much. On the way there we saw a lorry carrying an elephant. The guy was HUGE! We of course were fascinated and took pictures of its butt. Labels: Holiday
On the way we stopped at a shop. We were supposed to eat there but then the place had no electricity. Apparently electric wires don't go up to that part of the state (Perak). So they bought a big bottle of 100+ and ice, and also lots of snacks to keep us from being hungry. Then we stopped by this nice place to eat about 5 minutes away from the electricity-less place. I had half a senduk of rice, a whole ikan keli and half a salted egg. It cost me RM3.80. My cousin had a whole plate of rice, a piece of fried chicken wing and half a salted egg. It cost him RM3.80. His brother had a whole plate of rice, a whole fish and half a salted egg. RM3.80. And my other cousin had a whole plate of rice, some beef, a piece of fried chicken and half a salted egg. By this time, my cousin who was driving must have been very tired. His phone rang and he picked it up. When he picked up the phone, he turned off the air-cond. We were wondering why it was suddenly hot, the radio was still blaring loudly, and he was talking loudly. He also seemed puzzled as to why the radio was still loud. It was hilarious. The air-cond switch was right above the radio buttons. Hahaha.
On the road we passed a JPJ roadblock, but it was empty. There was just the berhenti sign, and cones, but no officers. Weird. And stupid.
A few..or many, actually, winding roads later, we arrived at our resort. Whatever our family paid for the rooms it was too much. Our drain was blocked so the water from the shower didn't drain out. There was a huge lizard hiding behind the mirror in the bathroom. When my brother hung up his shirt and pulled it back down, and old cigarette fell off from the windowsill. The hot water was really hot though. Could have cooked Maggi with it. The room was dark, most of the lights had burnt out. But the next day they were replaced so okey-lah. And when we were watching tv a huge cockroach crawled out from under the dresser. It then attached itself to my brother's carrier for his kid. We discovered this when we were outside so we threw it far far away from the room. One less cockroach there. The TV only had national channels, and bad reception at that. The bed I slept on was quite comfortable, though. But the other bed attacked my sis-in-law with its springs. She was rolling about when the springs suddenly stuck up out of the mattress. Ouch!
Not so much in activities. Shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Oh..and eating. We went to a steamboat place..the food was quite goodand the chilli was surprisingly pedas. GILE. My cousin went and poured a whole lot in my soup. I literally teared up when I was done. It was like cili sabah for those who know what that tastes like. I bought some stuff which I shall upload photos of when I've taken photos of them.
I went for a walk on the beach with SIL this morning. Yesterday belle-mere said it was dangerous to swim in the sea. This morning we saw why. The waves were huge! I think that was the first time I actually saw curling waves. It was amazing. And we saw a very interesting cloud.
10 minutes to 11, my cousin called to say we were leaving at 11. I was, of course, very much PO'd. I absolutely hate being rushed! Then we walked past the pool to watch my brother and his son swimming. SIL didn't want to be seen so she hid behind me. My evil brother pointed to us and said "Look! There's mummy!" His son looked at us and saw that there was no mummy so he started crying and said "No! No mummy! No mummy!" and then went on happily splashing about. Everytime my brother tried to show mummy to him he would start crying. Huhuhu.
The journey home wasn't very interesting. We stopped by this shop with classic bottled drinks. They didn't taste half bad either. 90 cents per bottle!
We were driving behind my aunt's car, then my cousin cut in front of their car because there was a lorry in front. We had left them far behind then we stopped near a lake (Tasik Belum) to eat. We sat there for about half an hour then continued our journey. A few minutes after that we saw their car in front of us. And my cousin cut in front of them again. We arrived at about 6pm. They arrived an hour later.
