Mr Mug-less looked in shock at the shattered mug. He couldn't believe that the object that had been his obsession and fear for so long was destroyed just like that. He realized that the mug was not as demonic as he thought and that he was living in unrational fear. He went out for a walk to calm his shaken mind.
As he walked, he suddenly saw his old friend, the friend that told him to get the mug in the first place. His old friend was sitting by the street, a crazed look in his eyes. Mr Mug-less went up to him and told him what had happened, and also of his epiphany. Mr Mug-less suddenly had an idea. He invited his friend to stay with him. At first he didn't want to but after Mr Mug-less told him that many Flex programmers had lost their jobs he felt much better about it. Then they went out to buy mugs for each other. After a few years, they had collected so many mugs that there was no more space to store them in the house. For fear of increasing the temperature of global warming and adding a hole to the ozone layer due to the vast amount of heat generated by the crowding of mugs they thought of how they could solve this problem. They then decided to open Mug-less' Mug Emporium and made millions on the sales of mugs.
I have completeley forgotten what has happened in my life since my last update so I'll just tell you about the most recent happening.
Last weekend, I went to Pangkor with my whole class. It was really fun except that I came back with severe injuries. When we went snorkelling I stepped on stones so my feet are seriously damaged. I would show you pictures, but that might gross you out. We did some shopping (I got a really nice new outfit), played in the sea, played some games by the beach and also in the hotel hall, and to my surprise, I entered a karaoke competition (very much unwillingly). So all in all it was a wonderful trip. It was only tarnished by the fact that I was in the executive committee and the president was this guy who has a hot-air balloon for a head. So here comes the ranting. The lecturer who told us to organized this trip did a post-mortem. It all went fine until some idiot said that the committe members didn't do anything and the only one who did a lot of work was the president, and no one else did any work, so thanks to MR PRESIDENT for the great trip. Like hell! I didn't sleep the night before I went back to Penang because I was busy editing the tags for them which my brother designed for me (btw, thanks so much the tags were beautiful), then went out in the middle of the night to look for bandanas for all of them to wear, and then wake up at 8 in the morning to print out the aforementioned tags, and wasting a whole hour at the office because the girl there had no clue, AND I didn't even charge for that! PLUS as soon as I got off the bus I just went home to put my stuff then went straight back out to get the tags laminated and holed and then go all the way to Pacific to get mugs as souvenirs for them which we designed by hand at Pangkor itself (33mugs, 3 people..MR PRESIDENT didn't bother to help). I was so tired as soon as I got home I blacked out on the bed. And the trip was at 7 the next day. AM. And that was just me..I know the other committee members also worked their heads off. And they had the nerve to say we didn't do anything! Of course they could say that because they didn't know what happened. We asked for work..yes..ASKED to do some paperwork or whatever..MR PRESIDENT's exact words were "takpe..takyah..aku dah buat dah semua...kalau harapkan korang, lambat siap." And he complained that he was tired and overworked and stressed. CRAP! My friend who was the secretary designed and typed a letter and gave it to him and he DID IT OVER! What the hell is that? And when they clapped for him because he was the "only one who did anything" he actually clapped along! And he didn't even bother to defend us! And then he has the nerve to ask if he can borrow my car. All I have to say is..."A..., YOU CAN GO TO HELL!"
Phew..that's out of my system. You can see my Pangkor photos on Facebook, although not all of it is uploaded yet..the albums have limited space and I have slow connection.
