This morning I got a call from a lady. The conversation went like this.
Me : Heollo ?
M : Hello, I'm from M Hotel. I'm calling regarding your industrial training. Your
college recommended you to be in the front office department.
Me : Oh, really (in a very excited tone. At this point my heart was all aflutter)
M : Hotel policy is that we provide uniforms for all our staff.
Me : Okay... (even more excited)
M : You will be required to wear a skirt. Is that okay with you ?
Me : (In a hopeful tone) Long skirt or short ?
M : Short skirt, miss.
*the sound of my heart shattering into a million pieces*
Huh.
*update* I got a call from the lecturer in charge for Centre Zone, and she said she'll put me in Hotel UiTM Shah Alam. Yeay~

Don't give up easily. Fight for your rights to wear a long skirt and tutup aurat. It is so kuno for them to only allow short skirts.
If you think this is a good opportunity and it is something you want, you should go for it.
Yell if you have to :)

Yeah! I'll be the one running and yelling into the hotel with a burning torch. Well..maybe not the burning torch..because then I'd be the one yelling and kicking while the police drag me off to jail =D
