Of Laptops, Blogs, and Food

Haha....great news...I have one class in the computer lab this semester so I will be able to give you my regular weekly blogs. Note this down : Tuesday mornings at 11am.
Anyhow, I'm back in Penang, starting my new semester at UiTM..been here since Friday afternoon. Wednesday before, I cooked a dinner for my family at my maktok's place. I invited my siblings & parents, of course, and also my aunt & uncle, and cousins. I made spaghetti bolognaise. Actually I wanted to make it with cili Sabah (really hot stuff!) but then I remembered my uncle can't eat hot stuff so instead I made sambal to put in the sauce seperately. It was quite good, if I do say so myself. And with the hot cili...yum! After food, we lepak-ed and talked. Biasala all the stupid jokes. It was so much fun..we haven't had a gathering like that for so long. And my maktok was so happy. She had always wanted to gather her kids and grandkids, but didn't have the energy to cook for us, so basically I made her dream come true (almost!). It made me happy to see her happy. She didn't join in the discussions (young ones round the dining table, not-so-young ones living area), but she sat somewhere in the middle and just listened and looked, and she was smiling almost the whole time. It must have been quite nice for her..I'm so glad =)
Got my new lappie the Thursday before I came back, and I love it! It's a Toshiba, and I got it for only RM1,999. Borrowed my stepmom's credit card so I can pay to her monthly. Not even RM100 per month! Whee! The pictures are so clear, and I can happily play my games on it..it's so much better than my old one. Unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to connect it to any wireless connections yet, although I'm thinking of getting a Celcom postpaid number so that way I can connect to the Internet no matter where I am. HooRay! Although I'm still deciding if I want to get a new number or to change my existing prepaid line to a postpaid line. It costs RM50 to change, so I'm sure it will be cheaper to get a new number, but the thing is I've been using this number since I got my first phone at 15 years, so sayang la nak tukar. So how? Suggestions, anyone?
