Okay so everyone is so riled up about the disallowed goal by Lampard. Frankly, I myself think the referee made a bad call. The ball was obviously in the goal, but apparently the referee can't change his decision if he realized his mistake after looking at the replay because there's a rule that says the referee can only change his call if he realized the mistake himself, so since he saw it on the video before he realized the mistake, he didn't realize it on his own so the decision stands. I think it's a stupid rule. FIFA is partly to blame too. In this high tech world they should have some high tech solutions for such problems, since referees are still only humans who can lose focus and make mistakes. Do I think England deserved that goal? Yes. But do I think they would have won if they had scored that goal? Heck no! They were unorganized, played without much spirit and were not as good as the young German players. So even though they deserved the goal, I do wish everybody would stop saying that they would have won with that goal. It could have gone either way, and I personally think the outcome would still have been in Germany's favour. I hope everybody stops complaining soon. I think the referee feels bad enough already.
